Onehunga Primary School tree planting day

On May 19, 2023, we proudly organized a remarkable tree planting day at Onehunga Primary School. With the guidance of our dedicated site team and sustainability manager, students and teachers were enlightened about sustainable building practices of their new school such as rain harvesting and the positive impact on the environment.

Partnering with Murphy Landscapes, we made the day even more memorable by involving the students in the tree planting process. Each student was gifted with their very own tree to plant, fostering a sense of ownership and environmental stewardship from an early age. Together, we worked hand in hand, transforming the school grounds into a thriving oasis of nature.

The students were provided with sustainable construction information in the form of an interactive presentation and also able to contribute to the collective effort of creating a greener future.
