Watts & Hughes worked alongside Fourways (Tranzit) to design and build two of their new bus service centres and depots. This particular project at Park Street Upper Hutt consisted of a 500m2 two-storey timber framed office block which housed office staff and the driver amenities. The 3-bay workshop and workshop offices adjoined the office. A large 4500m2 yard, bus wash area and fuelling areas were a part of the construction also.

The workshop was constructed with precast panels, insitu concrete floor and structural steel roof structure. The roof was colour steel. The office was a structural steel frame off the precast with infill timber framing.

This also had a colour steel roof and was clad in James Hardie Stria Board.
