Watts & Hughes Construction was engaged to build the new cricket pavillion for the Bay of Plenty Cricket Trust at Blake Park in Mt Maunganui.

The curved building follows the shape of the outfield of the cricket oval and houses changing rooms, meeting rooms and offices along with lounge and entertainment areas at each end of the building.

The precast panels have a rough sawn timber look to them which is very effecitve and all shower and toilet areas are tiled with big changing rooms and functional areas for the players.

The quality of this project was of a very high standard which ensured that Watts & Hughes have a very satisfied client.
