This redevelopment included, 2 new Two-storey Learning Blocks, New sports courts, associated site work works and demolition of redundant portable classrooms.

Watts & Hughes developed and implemented a number of Site Specific Operating Plans and Procedures to allow construction to proceed efficiently while providing maximum safety and security to surrounding occupied school areas.  Close liaison was maintained with the school and plans and procedures were amended as necessary to suit school requirements wherever possible.  New construction works took place throughout the existing school which remained in operation.

The original tender value was for Stage 1 $5.7M which was achieved.  A second stage of works valued at  $5.7 was added to the original contract to make the total final value approx. $11.3M.
