| This project involved the extension of an existing Countdown supermarket in Whangarei. The overall store footprint was increased by approximately 600m2 with all work undertaken throughout a live store environment. The new structure consisted of precast panels and structural steel with long run coloursteel roofing. An existing precast wall was required to be demolished to open for the new extension, careful and accurate planning regarding health and safety was required to undertake these works whilst the store was still trading. The works also included upgrades to service departments, the construction of a new pharmacy and numerous refrigeration upgrades. |
