New build of a single storey KFC restaurant, comprising of concrete ground slabs, timber framed and metal roof construction. KFC builds consist of back of house kitchen and storage areas, including commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment, front of house restaurant areas including detailed joinery, lighting, electrical and amenities fitout. The external works for the Eastgate KFC build included large scale hard stand site drainage and landscaped areas.

The new stand-alone KFC Restaurant was part of a $7 million expansion of the Eastgate Shopping mall by owner NPT Limited, after the mall suffered serious damage during the 2011 earthquakes.
