This project entailed the demolition of the existing KFC building and construction of a new 361m2 KFC Restaurant, 26 vehicle carpark and surrounding landscaped areas.

The main construction material was timber framing around a structural steel skeleton. A combination of titan board cladding, Insulclad plaster system and aluminium louvers complete the exterior cladding.

The key to successfully completing this KFC Restaurant was achieving programmed milestone dates. Enclosing the envelope to make watertight and secure to enable interior fitout to commence and early completion of the drive through was critical. The split roof levels in combination with both metal and membrane roofing makes enclosing the envelope quickly a challenge and constraints of a completing the exterior finishes and hard landscaping concurrently required careful planning.
