The original Placemakers Antigua Street project was the structural strengthening of the Placemakers Warehouse on Antigua Street. The contract works included concrete slab removal, structural steel, aluminium windows, exterior cladding, wall bracing / strengthening, canopy bracing, new asphalt to front and rear yard and drainage.

The fitout works included construction of a display area and entry suspended ceiling, electrical, a new kitchen display area, a new bathroom display area, slip resistant coating to the retail flooring, flooring to display / showroom areas and painting / decorating.

During the works Watts & Hughes programmed closely with the client and their requirements including opening hours and maintained customer safety.
