Prebbleton Changing Rooms
The Prebbleton changing rooms build was comprised of the main changing rooms and the exterior pergola structure.
The main changing rooms building a concrete slab with pre-set falls in the slab for drainage on compacted sub base with in slab services and starters for block walls internally and externally. All walls throughout for 20 series block fill and completed in 3 lifts. Structural steel connections and outriggers formed the soffit zone with post on the east and west side to foundation pads. Timber rafters installed into the structure to form the soffit frame around perimeter.
T -rib roofing with Thermkraft Covertek underlay across the full roof. Soffit linings and internal ceilings where hardies with Fyreline gib under the hardies to form the fire cell to the public toilets on both side of the building.
All blocks’ walls where paint finish in all rooms except for the storage, services room and the back and side walls of showers. Concrete slab throughout was a painted with Epotread grey throughout and on the walls to 2.1m high in the shower zones and behind the sink units in the storage areas.
Exterior doors where steel face powder coated doors and venting louvres above. All window opening where louvres to allow nature venting in all rooms and air circulation to work with the mechanical extraction system into the changing rooms.
All heaters in changing rooms where ceiling mounted with sensor timers on them linked to the lights and extraction system. Fire system was heat and smoke detectors to emergency lights at doors and hooked to a monitored system for fire services.
All showers where push button timed showers running of 2 storage cylinders in the services room function on heat pump water heating system for refill.
Durapanel partitions throughout for all toilet and shower doors and cubicles in changing rooms and official’s rooms with Durapanel bench seating around changing rooms on wall mounted stainless steel brackets
