New build of a single storey policing station in Rolleston. The new police station will house local Rolleston police offices, and will also be the administrative base for the Selwyn sub-area which were operating out of the Lincoln and Hornby stations. The station was expected to accommodate up to around 20 staff, however the station has been designed with sufficient space to allow for future expansion in line with the expected growth of the Selwyn District.

The new policing station has a total floor area of 315m2 that includes meeting rooms, interview rooms, offices, reception/front desk area for the public to approach and sanitary facilities. The construction works included but were not limited to profiled metal cladding, gib-linings, Decortech panels, suspended ceilings, structural steel, painting, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and floor coverings.

The station was hyped with a lot of local attention as the local Selwyn MP had been campaigning for a new police station since 2008. The new policing station was to replace the existing facility which could only accommodate 4 staff members and was outside of the township.
