Redevelopment and expansion of the existing Rotorua Public Library, encompassing alterations to three levels at the existing building, new entries, canopies and a new cafe at street level.

This tender was successfully won by Watts & Hughes under a traditional tender system in a very competitive market. Watts & Hughes has managed the construction process well while not inhibiting the ongoing running of the library and keeping disruption and noise levels to a minimum. Quality and programme were kept to Watts & Hughes’s usual high standards leading to the completion of another significant project for the Rotorua District Council.
