This was a design & build project where the ground floor areas included a 100m2 multi-purpose room with an adjacent semi-commercial kitchen. The building also includes two large male/female bathroom/shower rooms and a 100m2 cultural/arts room. Level one includes four large open plan classroom spaces and a separate reading and resources room. The building has a central access stair, a disabled lift and a large rear fire escape stair.

The new building structure is comprised of a typical slab on grade, 200 series blockwork (external blockwork coloured) up to first floor level, Vspan and flatslab precast flooring and a combination of timber framing and structural steel portals to level 1.
